"Chris has the rare talent of writing in a way that engages both the heart and mind. She is funny, thoughtful, inquisitive, and honest, and her work connects the theological to everyday life in a way that reveals their inherent interconnectedness. Hers is the next blog you should add to your reader."

I think I peed my pants the first time I posted a blog.

They let anybody blog, so I don’t know what I was afraid of.  And that’s just the point—anybody can blog—we all have things to say, details to report, stories of how lightning strikes us even in the mundane and routine.  Talking is great, but blogs… that’s the stuff of everyday life.

Here, I process the pieces of holy that I run into each day—it’s the place where I work out theological concepts in my natural habitation.  Here, I face my fears and questions, and here, I’m often changed.

I’d love for you to join me, thinking of your own story as you read, and together, let’s explore the God of love who shows up where we’d least expect it.
